Updated Answers to Naturalization Civics Test Questions
If you have a Naturalization (Citizenship) interview coming up and are preparing for the Civics exam (100 questions exam), then make sure you know that some of the answers have changed. Specifically, nationwide elections have occurred in November 2017, and therefore your state governor, US Senators, US Representative may have changed. In addition, the U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives has changed. These questions often come up on the Civics exam during your naturalization interview and you should make sure that you have studied the updated answers.
The specific questions that you should review for any changes are:
# 20. Who is one of your state’s U.S. Senators now? Answers will vary depending on which state you live in.
# 23. Name your U.S. Representative. Answers will vary depending on which district you live in.
# 43. Who is the Governor of your state now? Answers will vary depending on which state you live in.
# 47. What is the name of the Speaker of the House of Representatives now? – Nancy Pelosi
