2021 Diversity Lottery Submission Period Now Open until November 5, 2019

The Department of State has opened the period of registration for the Diversity Lottery for Fiscal year 2021. Submissions will be accepted from October 2, 2019 to November 5, 2019. The entry form is only available online at the following web address: https://dvlottery.state.gov/

The site also contains detailed instructions on application completion, including photo instructions. Applicants must enter their information correctly on the form, otherwise their entry will not be accepted. The instructions are also available in various languages, including Spanish and Arabic.

Applicants should first check to see if they or their family members are eligible before submitting the application. The web page has a link which can help applicants find out if they are eligible.
